Eat your way to your Dream Body

 1. Eat Six Meals A Day

To lose weight and change your shape, you have to raise your metabolic rate to burn more calories, even when you are not exercising. If you eat six times a day –in the form of 3 meals and 3 snacks – you will stay satisfied and free of cravings.

2. Use Your Blender

Your blender is a powerful tool to help you create a leaner body. Smoothies- blended mixtures of milk /water (low-fat) yogurt, whey protein powder, ice, fruits, vegetables and more. Drink an 8 ounce smoothie for breakfast or as a snack after your workout.

3. Know what to Drink

Drinking about 8 glasses of water a day helps you stay well hydrated and satiated. Other than water the best drinks you can have are low fat milk and green tea or any non- sugar teas.

4. Focus on power Foods

Incorporate 2 or 3 power foods into each of your three major meals, and at least one of them into each of your snacks. Diversify your food at every meal to get a combination of protein, carbs and fat (good fat). By adding that Protein in your daily shakes is a good way.

5. Stop Counting

Though calorie burning is paramount to losing fat, calorie counting can be tedious and discouraging. The good news is that focusing on power foods will count calories for you.  You will stay full all day rather than experience the blood-sugar surges that can cause you to have unnecessary cravings and eat foods that aren’t good for you.

6. For one meal a week, forget the other five rules- Have one one cheat meal a week, eat pizza or whatever you miss the most. the point is to control your diet by planning your weekly cheat meals ahead of time.
